Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Imaging Call Center role located in Atlantic Station, Atlanta. The position emphasizes timely communication of imaging results, patient scheduling, and coordination between radiologists, providers, and patients.

Responsibilities include urgent result notifications, safety verifications for implantable devices, and use of Epic chat and e-fax. On-site work with a standard 3p-11:30p schedule Monday through Friday.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of call center, operator, dispatching, or related office experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer, locate, and direct calls for imaging study with a critical result.
• Serve as first line contact for radiologists, providers, and nursing staff on urgent imaging findings.
• Review reports and notify patients and referring physicians via Epic secure chat, e-fax, and in-basket.
• Maintain the critical results tracker to ensure timely communication within required timeframes.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implantable devices through proper interrogation protocols.
• Notify ordering providers when devices fail interrogation to facilitate alternative care planning.
• Work closely with the Patient Connection Center to ensure timely scheduling of patients' post-device interrogation.
• Request and manage outside imaging for exam correlation using Powershare.
• Perform basic office procedures to support the Imaging Call Center's daily operations.
