Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Imaging Call Center Operator to ensure timely, accurate communication of imaging results and coordination of patient care. This on-site role at Atlantic Station requires collaborating with radiologists, providers, and patients to maintain smooth operations.

You will answer calls, notify urgent findings, verify MRI safety for implant devices, and support daily Imaging Center tasks, using Epic secure chat, e-fax, and in-basket messaging.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center or related office experience required.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to coordinate with radiologists and providers.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls for critical imaging results.
• Notify radiologists and providers of urgent findings.
• Use Epic secure chat, e-fax, and in-basket messaging for notifications.
• Maintain the critical results tracker to ensure timely communication.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implant devices.
• Notify ordering providers when devices fail interrogation to facilitate alternative care planning.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Patient Connection Center after device interrogation.
• Request and manage outside imaging for exam correlation using Powershare.
• Perform basic office procedures to support the Imaging Call Center.
