Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an on-site Imaging Call Center professional based in Atlantic Station to ensure timely and accurate communication of imaging results. You will coordinate care between radiologists, providers, and patients, using Epic secure chat, e-fax, and in-basket messaging to keep everyone informed.

The role requires at least 1 year of call center/office experience and a high school diploma or GED, with familiarity in radiology communications and patient scheduling processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center/office experience required
• HS Diploma or GED required
• Experience with radiology communications/tools (Epic) preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicate imaging results promptly and accurately to providers and patients.
• Coordinate care between radiologists, providers, and patients to ensure smooth operations.
• Use Epic secure chat, e-fax, and in-basket messaging forNotifications.
• Maintain the critical results tracker and ensure timely communications within required timeframes.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implants through interrogation protocols.
• Notify providers when device interrogation fails and assist with alternative care planning.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Patient Connection Center after device interrogation.
• Arrange outside imaging for exam correlation using Powershare.
• Perform basic office procedures to support the Imaging Call Center.
• This is an on-site position based out of Atlantic Station.
