Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for a contract assignment in Oakland, CA. You will schedule diagnostic and interventional imaging, validate referrals and authorizations, and assist patients with appointments and directions.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with imaging scheduling, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Previous Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Scheduling experience for imaging is required.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 CPT codes and authorizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate diagnostic and interventional imaging patients while validating eligibility and authorization prior to care.
• Validate referrals/orders.
• Greet and assist patients with appointments, directions, scheduling.
• Take information from emergency calls and coordinate inter-department communication for patient care in imaging.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
