Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with medical imaging scheduling, authorization, and eligibility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT and billing coding entries may be required.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and sign-in for appointments and walk-in exams with patient identifiers.
• Schedule imaging and coordinate with multiple departments for radiology appointments.
• Validate referrals and obtain sufficient information for billing and authorization.
• Process order transcription and ensure proper CPT coding.
• Assist patients with insurance eligibility and scheduling across modalities.
• Distribute mail and maintain breast coordinator workflows as needed.
• Provide guidance on correct coding for referrals and orders.
