Job summary

Tfhd seeks a capable support professional for the Diagnostic Imaging department. The role requires coordinating scheduling across multiple imaging modalities and communicating with patients, physicians, radiologists and hospital staff to ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include order transcription, Epic data entry, and coordinating emergent and outpatient procedures with physicians and technologists.

Qualifications

• Six months Diagnostic Imaging department experience and/or training; or experience in a clinical support position (a physician office or healthcare facility).
• 6 months to 1 year relevant experience
• BLS: Enrollment in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) program within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating scheduling for multiple diagnostic service areas and communicates with patients, physicians, radiologists and departments to fulfill patient/customer satisfaction.
• Transcribes orders and imports demographics into Epic; coordinates emergent and outpatient schedules with various physicians and technologists.
• Proficient in PACS and handling outside image reports for radiologist comparison; supports the Radiology Director and department staff as needed.
