Qualifications

• Two years of full-time clerical experience.
• Experience with medical imaging scheduling, billing and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and verify patient identity and exam; obtain consent and document in the chart.
• Greet and assist patients with appointments, directions and check-in.
• Schedule imaging procedures and coordinate referrals and authorizations.
• Process outside referrals, validate billing, and transcribe orders into EPIC.
• Perform order transcription and CPT/billing coding entry.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and external facilities for radiology scheduling.
• Handle breast coordinator duties, including call-backs and follow-up scheduling.
