Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Per Diem PSR/Imaging Scheduler to greet patients, manage arrivals and scheduling of radiology exams across multiple locations. You will collect co-pays, explain pre-exam prep, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality while coordinating with providers and technologists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• 0-1 years experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers and family in person and by phone in a courteous and timely manner.
• Ensure patient arrival according to schedule and update arrival time when necessary.
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of insurance.
• Collect patient co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Assist patients with questionnaires for procedures (CT, Mammo, MRI, Dexa).
• Schedule and reschedule radiology exams per protocol; advise pre-exam prep if needed.
