Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a Radiology Scheduler to be the first point of contact for scheduling imaging appointments. You will assist patients with scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling while collecting needed demographics and insurance information.

The role supports coordination with imaging facilities and radiologists, educating patients on preparation steps and ensuring accurate data entry into the EMR.

Qualifications

• High School GED or Diploma required.
• 1 year in a centralized scheduling call center or 2 years in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Keyboarding and computer equipment proficiency required.
• Team player, able to multi-task, proactive.

Responsabilités

• Schedule imaging appointments and coordinate with radiologists.
• Collect patient demographics, insurance and authorizations; verify eligibility.
• Educate patients about exam prep and medication/lab requirements.
• Enter patient medical history into the EMR and maintain records.
• Support quality improvement and teamwork within the department.
