Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a Radiology Scheduler to be the first point of contact for imaging appointments. You will schedule, cancel, or reschedule, verify insurance, authorizations, and collect demographics, while guiding patients through exam prep and EMR documentation.

The role emphasizes patient-centered service, problem-solving, and teamwork within a remote-work setup serving the Greater Sacramento area. Equipment will be provided to work from home.

Qualifikationen

• High School GED or Diploma required.
• 1 year in centralized scheduling or 2+ years clinical health care experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Manage comprehensive patient scheduling in Cerner & GECB, including demographics, insurance, authorization, eligibility, and prior imaging coordination.
• Coordinate with imaging staff and radiologists to ensure smooth scheduling and prep instructions.
• Educate patients on medication limitations, labs, and exam prep like contrast or fasting.
• Screen and collect medical history details and enter into the EMR.
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and effective communication while prioritizing patient care.
