Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or scheduling role is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work with HIPAA confidentiality and patient data.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person and by phone in a courteous manner.
• Schedule and coordinate radiology exams per protocol; inform pre-exam prep.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; document transactions.
• Maintain reception area and ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Communicate with providers, technologists and leadership to resolve issues.
