Job summary

Providence Swedish Redmond is seeking a Medical Imaging Scheduler to coordinate scheduling for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology services, including ED cases. The role requires verifying physician orders and insurance pre-authorizations, registering patients, and supporting billing and records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent educ/experience
• Two-year college/technical school with healthcare emphasis preferred, or 6 months to 1 year related health care experience/training

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient imaging services for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology.
• Schedule imaging for ED-generated cases.
• Obtain physician orders and insurance verification or pre-authorization.
• Register patients and collect payments; assist with billing and records requests.
• Print electronic imaging files and handle imaging documentation.
• Answer multiple phone lines and liaise with patients and clinicians.
