Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services, LLC is seeking a Patient Coordinator to support our outpatient imaging team in Atlanta, GA. This role handles scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications to ensure a smooth visit from appointment to completion.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a healthcare setting, knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations, and strong organizational and communication skills. High school diploma required; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Verify insurance eligibility and inform patients about benefits.
• Monitor daily schedule and backfill open slots to reduce delays.
• Serve as first point of contact, answering calls and guiding patients.
• Enter patient data into EMR and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and admin staff.
• Provide warm, empathetic customer service to patients and families.
