Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting (1–2 years).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and EMR systems.
• Empathetic, patient-focused, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments for patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and communicate coverage details.
• Monitor daily schedule and backfill open slots.
• Serve as first point of contact for patients—calls and inquiries.
• Enter patient information into the EMR accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide warm, empathetic customer service to patients and families.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
