Capitol Imaging Services, LLC in Georgia's Marietta imaging facility is seeking a compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our imaging facility team. This part-time, day-shift role supports patients from scheduling to visit completion, ensuring a smooth and caring experience; hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30–5.

You will manage scheduling, verify insurance, handle EMR data entry, coordinate with radiologists and staff, and deliver warm, patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in healthcare/medical office setting.
• Familiar with medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in scheduling software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Patient Scheduling: Schedule imaging appointments and optimize resource use.
• Insurance Verification: Confirm eligibility and benefits; explain coverage to patients.
• Appointment Management: Monitor schedule and backfill openings.
• Patient Communication: Address calls with clear, empathetic guidance.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Input patient information into EMR accurately.
