Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services LLC. is seeking a Patient Coordinator in Newnan, GA to manage patient encounters from registration to scheduling. You will verify demographics and insurance, obtain signatures, and ensure proper documentation in the patient record.

The role requires strong communication and attention to detail, with a focus on accurate billing, payment collection, and coordination with radiology staff. Prior scheduling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to collect payments and verify insurance details.
• Experience with radiology scheduling preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Register and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify orders and obtain patient signatures; contact referring physicians when needed.
• Scan and attach orders, insurance cards, licenses and forms to the patient record.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles prior to services; arrange payment plans if needed.
• Schedule walk-in or add-on patients and note arrival times in the system.
• Coordinate with radiologists and technologists to ensure smooth patient flow.
