Job summary

TGH Imaging is seeking a Patient Services Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients at the Wesley Chapel imaging facility. You will greet patients, complete check-in and registration, verify documents, collect payments, and ensure accurate entry of patient and insurance information.

You will support clinic flow, assist with high-volume periods, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and HIPAA.
• Preferably in an imaging or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and register patients for scheduled or walk-in imaging.
• Verify documentation for imaging procedures (prescriptions, referrals, authorizations, insurance cards, ID).
• Collect time-of-service payments and issue receipts.
• Update demographic, insurance, and clinical information; ensure accuracy.
• Answer phones and schedule/reschedule appointments; escort patients as needed.
• Scan and upload documents into the electronic record; contact referring offices as needed.
