Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta's Atlantic Station is seeking an Imaging Call Center Specialist to support timely communication of imaging results and scheduling. You will coordinate with radiologists, providers, and patients, ensuring secure messaging and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include handling critical result notifications, MRI safety verifications, and post-interrogation scheduling, working on-site from 3p-11:30p, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of previous call center, operator, dispatching, or related office experience required.

Responsabilités

• Answer, locates, direct calls to ordering providers when there is an imaging study with a critical result.
• Serve as the first line contact for radiologists, providers, and nursing staff regarding urgent imaging findings.
• Reviews reports and sends proper notification to patients and referring physicians using Epic secure chat, e-fax and in-basket messaging.
• Maintain and manage the critical results tracker to ensure timely communication within required timeframes.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implantable devices through interrogation protocols.
• Notify ordering providers when devices fail interrogation to facilitate alternative care planning.
• Work with the Patient Connection Center to schedule patients after device interrogation.
• Request and manage outside imaging for exam correlation using Powershare.
• Perform basic office procedures to support the Imaging Call Center's daily operations.
