Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell our Identity Security Solution. You will lead a virtual team including presales, partner managers, deal desk, services, and customer success to drive wins and ensure customer success.

The role emphasizes strong communication, discovery, and collaboration, with a focus on differentiating SailPoint against Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt. 50% travel is expected. The base salary range for US-based employees is $111,200–$168,381 annually.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to exceed revenue quotas quarterly and yearly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in first engagements and discovery calls.
• Experience leading virtual cross-functional teams (pre-sales, partner manager, deal desk, customer success).
• Ability to create territory and opportunity plans and manage sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
• Lead the sales cycle from discovery to closing, including RFPs and negotiations.
• Coordinate with partner resources, presales, and customer success to win deals.
• Develop territory and account plans with a strong focus on customer success.
