Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell Identity Security Solutions to State, Local and Higher Education organizations. You will collaborate with partners, presales, and customer success to drive sales wins and customer success.

You will own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, develop territory plans, forecast accurately in Salesforce, and compete with Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt while delivering a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process.
• Lead a virtual team of partner resources, presales, partner manager, deal desk, professional services, BVA team, and customer success to deliver sales wins and customer success.
• Create a territory or opportunity plan, including steps to move from discovery to the next steps in the sales cycle.
• Work with Marketing Manager on marketing plan and with Channel Manager on channel plan.

Education

Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business or sales related field
