Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business for Identity Security solutions. You will lead a virtual team, manage the full sales cycle, and partner with marketing and channels to close strategic opportunities.

This role requires strong communication, territory planning, and the ability to position SailPoint against competitors like Microsoft and Okta. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in IT, business or sales related field.
• Travel: Approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position.

Responsibilities

• Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
• Own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and the closing process.
• Lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to the customer.
• Foster a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans with partners and end users.
