Job summary

PossAbility, LLC is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to oversee ISPs for individuals with diverse disabilities. You will develop and implement behavior support plans, prepare monthly program reviews, and engage with individuals to monitor progress.

The role involves collaboration with therapists, nurses, and social workers to ensure compliant, high-quality services and adherence to IDHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, public health, or related field.
• QIDP certification and listed on the Department's QIDP database.
• 5+ years of experience as a direct care worker for individuals with IDD.
• Ability to support individuals with IDD and develop support strategies.
• Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• ISP development and implementation to meet individuals' needs and rights.
• Oversee BSPs to address challenging behaviors.
• Prepare monthly program reviews with data and narratives.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and social workers for comprehensive support.
• Ensure compliance with IDHS regulations and related agencies.
• Serve as primary case manager across programs and services.
• Train staff and supervise team members on program implementation.
