Job summary

HDR is seeking an Idaho Area Mining Lead to manage mining projects and client relationships in Idaho. You will identify opportunities, champion pursuits, and coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts with HDR’s mining practice.

The role focuses on planning, directing, and monitoring large projects with high technical complexity, including field programs, while promoting HDR services and building senior client relationships both on-site and at corporate levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Client Manager for selected key mines and remains active in the industry.
• Promotes HDR services in collaboration with Mining leadership.
• Leads and supports pursuits through client relationship development and strategy.
• Participates in industry associations and represents HDR in public forums.
• Identifies investments to maintain HDR’s leadership in mining.
• Builds relationships with senior client leadership on-site and corporately.
• Coordinates staffing and recruitment for key hires with Mining Practice Lead.
• Assists local leadership with onboarding and talent management.
• Drives technical excellence and coordinates staff for programs and marketing.
