Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Global Mining Practice Business Development Leader to drive client engagement and market growth across the mining sector. You will lead major pursuits, shape market strategy, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires a strong network in mining, strategic account management, and the ability to travel across North America to advance HDR’s mining practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant mining industry experience.
• Self-starter with limited oversight.
• Understanding of procurement of professional services in A/E/C.
• Experience winning high-value, multidisciplinary mining assignments.
• Willingness to travel and engage with clients in-person.

Responsibilities

• Lead global mining practice growth through bookings, revenue, backlog and market share.
• Build strategic client relationships with mining companies and partners.
• Drive major pursuits with capture planning and proposal strategy.
• Shape market strategy through commodity outlooks and investment patterns.
• Coordinate HDR groups to deliver integrated mining solutions.
• Develop and mentor regional business development leaders.
