Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is hiring a Full-time Nurse Assistant for the night shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will support RN care, perform basic nursing tasks, and document in the EMR.

Requirements include a GED/HSED or high school diploma, and BLS within 45 days plus Nurse Aide in good standing. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and EMR documentation experience preferred.
• Annual hospital-based certification/education updates required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs and input/output; record in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN promptly.
• Assist with admissions/transfers/discharges and room setup.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Transport supplies, manage stock, and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with positioning, skin care, and patient safety activities.
