Advocate Health is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant for the Med Surg unit at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. This role supports RNs with daily patient care on a 0.6 FTE night shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am), with two 12-hour shifts weekly and rotating holidays.

Requirements include GED/HSED or HS diploma, BLS certification within 45 days, and state nurse aide registration in good standing. Benefits eligible; pay range is $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).

Responsabilités

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations and needs to the RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision of RN.
• Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Cleans and restocks nursing area; maintains equipment and supplies.
• Assists with patient positioning and transporting duties, including diet tray setup/removal.
• Maintains skin integrity and provides necessary care for age-specific patients.
• May remove IVs, perform bladder scans, and provide post-mortem care under RN direction.
