Job summary

Okta Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Corporate/New Business) to join the Solutions Engineering team in Bellevue, WA.

You will be the technical and domain expert for a customer-facing sales team, delivering product demonstrations and tailored solutions throughout the sales cycle. You will engage with diverse customers, answer complex questions, and run Proof Of Concepts while collaborating with Okta engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience in IAM.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
• Experience with lifecycle management and RBAC.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical and domain expert on a customer-facing sales team.
• Deliver product demonstrations aligned to customer needs.
• Answer product feature and technical questions from customers and partners.
• Plan and deliver Proof Of Concepts for complex use cases.
• Provide feedback to product management for enhancements.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with the team.
• Stay updated on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
• Support marketing events and executive briefings.
