Okta, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Corporate/New Business) to act as the technical expert during sales cycles, building and delivering product demonstrations and Proofs of Concepts for complex use cases.

The role emphasizes IAM expertise, strong communication, and customer-focused solution design. You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to align Okta’s identity platform with customer needs, contribute to strategy, and participate in marketing events while

Qualifications

5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in IAM.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
Experience with lifecycle management, RBAC, and provisioning/deprovisioning.

Responsibilities

Work with Corporate/New Business sales as the technical expert to show Okta’s value.
Understand customer challenges and align demos to customer needs.
Answer product feature and technical questions from customers and partners.
Plan and deliver proofs of concepts for complex use cases with other teams.
Provide feedback to product management on enhancements.
Share best practices and reusable assets with the team.
Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
Support marketing events and executive briefings.
Occasionally lead the team as SME with product knowledge.
