Job summary

Dow Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical Lead to support pilot plant operations.

You will troubleshoot I&E issues, calibrate instruments, specify equipment, and lead I&E activities for small projects with Maintenance and Engineering teams. Ideal candidates have an Instrumentation Journeyman card or equivalent training, 4+ years of industrial I&E experience, and strong knowledge of SIS and safety systems.

Qualifications

Requires Instrumentation Journeyman card or documented training, 4+ years instrumentation/electrical experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work overtime/on-call and holidays as needed.
U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot Instrument & Electrical issues on pilot plant equipment; diagnose problems and repair/replace as needed.
Prepare equipment for maintenance; calibrate instrumentation and maintain I&E equipment (VFDs, switchgear, transformers, power supplies).
Specify and procure Instrument and Electrical equipment based on power, flow, temperature, etc.
Conduct periodic function and proof testing of BPCS and SIS instrument loops.
Perform I/O loop checkouts for new field installations.
Lead I&E aspects of small capital/expense projects.
