Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Lead to support pilot plant operations. You will diagnose and repair I&E issues, calibrate instrumentation and lead equipment preparations for maintenance.

You will also specify, procure and test equipment, and assist Processes Engineers with control code development. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 4+ years in instrumentation/electrical work or equivalent military service, and ability to work overtime on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.
Instrumentation Journeyman card or 4 years of instrumentation/electrical experience OR 4 years of military skilled trade service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and other MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot I&E issues on Pilot Plant equipment; diagnose and repair.
Prepare equipment for maintenance; clear motors/switchgear and calibrate instrumentation.
Specify and procure I&E equipment per process requirements; support SIS and I/O loop testing.
Lead I&E for small capital projects; maintain instrument schedules and records.
Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians, Engineers and Operations for shutdowns and installations.
Assist training of Run Plant Technicians and Engineers in instrumentation.
