Job summary

Dow in Texas is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to support pilot plant operations. You will troubleshoot I&E issues, prepare equipment for maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers and operators to minimize downtime.

This role requires an Instrumentation Journeyman card or equivalent training, a high school diploma, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Instrumentation Journeyman card or equivalent training with 4+ years of instrumentation/electrical experience or 4 years of military skilled trade.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Ability to work overtime/on-call rotational schedule, including holidays.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Instrumentation & Electrical issues on Pilot Plant equipment and diagnose/repair problems.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance; calibrate instrumentation and maintain I&E equipment such as VFDs, Switchgear, and transformers.
