Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking an I&E Technician to modify, repair, and overhaul electronic and electrical equipment in midstream facilities.

You will troubleshoot control systems, install instrumentation, read P&ID drawings, maintain DCS/PLC systems, and support calibration, testing, and safety procedures across gas plants and pump stations. Requires 5+ years in electrical/instrumentation and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical trade school or apprenticeship in instrumentation is preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation is highly preferred.
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and manuals is required.
• Knowledge of electrical codes; 120-480V three-phase and 24 VDC.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 5+ years electrical/instrumentation experience, preferably in energy.
• Must attain Enterprise Electrical code level 3B within a reasonable time.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-tool skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and use MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation and electrical components safely.
• Troubleshoot control systems and equipment (gas recips, generators, dehydration, pump stations).
• Run conduit, pull wire, change motors, maintain lighting and motor controls.
• Maintain, modify, and troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems.
• Maintain monitoring devices (gas, flame, detectors, etc.).
• Read P&ID and electrical diagrams; update drawings.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain end devices, alarms, and shutdown systems.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment.
• Provide training and technical support.
• Maintain company vehicle and drive as needed.
