Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Lead to support pilot plant operations. You will troubleshoot I&E issues, calibrate instruments, and help prepare equipment for maintenance.

The role requires a Journeyman card or equivalent experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work overtime and on-call shifts. You will collaborate with technicians, engineers, and operators to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Instrumentation Journeyman card or 4 years of instrumentation/electrical experience, or 4 years of military service with relevant trade.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Willingness to work overtime on a rotating on-call basis and holidays.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Instrumentation and Electrical issues on Pilot Plant equipment.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance; calibrate instrumentation and electrical components.
• Specify and procure I&E equipment per electrical specs and process needs.
• Test BPCS and SIS instrument loops and perform loop check activities.
• Lead I&E aspects of small projects and manage related documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to plan shutdowns and installations.
• Provide equipment specs to support process control coding and commissioning.
• Assist with training Run Plant Technicians and Engineers on I&E topics.
