Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Deal Desk Director to drive complex hyperscale agreements, coordinating legal, commercial, finance and development teams to move transactions from negotiation to signature.

The role focuses on commercially oriented deal execution, working with hyperscale customers and internal stakeholders to meet contractual deadlines and manage risks across a growing portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience negotiating and executing complex commercial agreements with major hyperscale customers.
• Background in data centers, digital infrastructure or a closely related sector.
• Experience in deal desk, commercial negotiations, contract management or similar role.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and execution of complex commercial negotiations with major hyperscale customers.
• Manage the full deal process, bringing together legal, commercial, finance, development and technical teams to progress agreements through to signature.
• Review and understand contractual terms, identify key redlines and work with internal/external counsel to resolve issues.
• Drive accountability across multiple stakeholders, ensuring actions are completed and deadlines are met.
• Manage competing priorities and high-pressure negotiations, maintaining momentum and resolving issues constructively.
• Identify bottlenecks, commercial risks and contractual challenges, proactively driving solutions to keep transactions on track.
• Establish structured processes and clear communication across all parties involved in major contract negotiations.
