Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Director of Deal Strategy & Acceleration in Bellevue to architect and lead a next‑gen Deal Desk for hyperscale AI infrastructure. You will craft bespoke pricing, negotiate complex SLAs, and design commercial structures that protect margins while winning strategic deals.

You will build scalable processes, hire a world-class team, and partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to scale the function globally. This role focuses on top-tier mega-deals and long-term value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of deep experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, Strategic Finance, or Enterprise Sales Structuring.
• Experience with IaaS contracting and consumption-based models.
• Strong financial modeling skills and aggressive commercial instinct.
• Proven ability to build a Deal Desk function from inception and train a team.

Responsibilities

• Architect bespoke commercial structures for major contracts, balancing price, terms, capital commitments, GPU usage, and risk to maximize value.
• Build and standardize the Deal Desk processes, including approvals, SLAs, discounting policies, and negotiation playbooks.
• Serve as central liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Capacity Planning to secure innovative, executable deals.
• Develop deep profitability models to assess multi-year capacity deals and margin impact.
• Hire and lead a global team of Deal Strategists partnering with Account Executives on high-velocity transactions.
