Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale hyperscale data center projects in Spartanburg, SC. This on-site role requires leadership across procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover to clients.

You will coordinate with owners, design teams, contractors, utilities, and commissioning agents to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence while managing risk and cost forecasts. A collaborative, results-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience across preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Strong understanding of methods, materials, scheduling, contract administration, and project controls.
• Experience managing contractor performance, change orders, cost controls, risk mitigation, and payment reviews.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all phases.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, utilities, and clients.
• Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams.
