Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects in Spartanburg, SC. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality from preconstruction through commissioning and client handover.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience on major projects, OSHA certification, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams across design, contracting, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 8+ years in construction project management for large-scale projects.
• 4+ years leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience across all project phases: preconstruction to closeout.
• Strong scheduling, contract administration, and project controls knowledge.
• Experience with change orders, risk mitigation, and cost controls.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interfaces with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of hyperscale data center projects from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across phases.
• Coordinate among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Facilitate meetings, track actions, report status to stakeholders.
• Analyze performance and develop schedule, cost, safety, and risk reports.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management and approval of changes and claims.
• Review invoices and cost forecasts; monitor compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover of critical systems.
• Support utility coordination and site infrastructure implementation.
• Lead resolution of complex construction and operational challenges.
• Promote safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
