Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center construction in Spartanburg, SC. The role is on-site and requires steering multi‑discipline teams through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, interfacing with owners, design teams, contractors and utilities to deliver safe, on‑time, within‑budget facilities that meet mission‑critical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
• 4+ years leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience delivering all phases from preconstruction to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, procurement, and risk management.
• Experience with contractor performance, change orders, and cost controls.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives and clients.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center projects from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all phases.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, utilities, and client reps.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track actions, report status.
• Analyze performance and develop reports on schedule, cost, safety, and risk.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and changes.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and approval of changes.
• Review invoices, payment applications, and cost forecasts.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance; manage project controls and forecasting.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover of critical systems.
• Support utility coordination and site infrastructure implementation.
• Lead resolution of complex construction and operational challenges.
