Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center deployments in Spartanburg, SC. The role demands experience across all phases—preconstruction through commissioning—working with owners, designers, contractors, and utility providers to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage schedules, budgets, and risks, guiding multidisciplinary teams and communicating clearly with executives and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
• Minimum of 4 years in a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager role leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Proven experience managing all phases of delivery (preconstruction to closeout).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling techniques, contract administration, and project controls.
• Experience managing contractor performance, change orders, cost controls, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive interface.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, utility providers, commissioning teams, and clients.
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and report status to stakeholders.
• Analyze performance and develop reports on schedule, cost, safety, quality, procurement, and risk.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and approval of changes and claims.
• Review contractor invoices and cost forecasts.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance on site.
• Manage project controls including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, earned value, and reporting.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover of systems.
• Support utility coordination and infrastructure implementation (electrical, substations, fiber, water).
• Lead resolution of complex construction and logistical challenges.
• Promote safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Utilize Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, and related tools.
