Job summary

HDR is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Hydropower Practice in Nashville. You will take a technical lead on analysis, design, and construction of modifications for large-scale dams and critical power infrastructure across the region.

You will be responsible for geotechnical analysis, design calculations, reports, and drawings, working with HDR's multidisciplinary team. You may also serve as Project Manager for mid-size initiatives and support marketing efforts for both internal and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MS in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering, plus PE license.
• Minimum 5 years of related geotechnical experience.
• Experience with dam safety inspections and geotechnical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical analysis, design, and construction for dam modifications and power infrastructure.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and drawings.
• Review field and laboratory testing data and assist in marketing efforts.
