Job summary

HDR is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Hydropower team across the Southeast. You will take a technical lead on analysis, design, and construction of dam and power infrastructure, driving geotechnical investigations, modeling, and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering; PE preferred.
• Experience with dam safety and geotechnical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design and construction modifications for large-scale dams and infrastructure.
• Drive project workflows, planning and geotechnical investigations.
• Prepare geotechnical analyses, design calculations and reports.
• Review dam safety instrumentation data and perform finite element modeling.
