Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MS degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license (NC) or licensure in process.
• 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or GIS.
• Proficiency with GeoStudio/Ensoft and Bentley software.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Drive project workflows, planning and geotechnical investigations.
• Lead analysis, design, and construction modifications for dams and power infrastructure.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations and construction specs.
• Review dam safety instrumentation data and perform finite element modeling.
• Engage in marketing efforts and potential project management for mid-size initiatives.
