Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is offering an Associate Claim Rep, Workers’ Compensation program designed to train new professionals in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. You will work alongside experienced claim professionals to build essential skills over a ~12-month period and progress toward independent claims handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn claims management.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, specific claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing, investigating, and documenting Workers’ Compensation claims under close supervision.
• Investigate, develop, and evaluate action plans for claim resolution and assess coverage and compensability.
• Participate in telephonic and/or onsite file reviews.
• Learn how to determine coverage and exposure based on policy terms and claim facts.
