Job summary

Applegreen is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding U.S. Developments Team and drive delivery on one of America’s largest Travel Plaza Redevelopment programs.

This role oversees multiple construction projects across several states, taking ownership from concept through turnover and opening. It combines field work with office collaboration and requires travel to active sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, permitting, procurement and project delivery.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Project and Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent construction and development projects, often across several states.
• Act as Construction Project Manager and/or Owner's Representative to protect Applegreen's interests.
• Lead projects from concept through turnover and operational opening.
• Develop, maintain and actively manage project schedules and milestone plans.
• Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to complete the project.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and expenditures; review pricing and change orders.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor selection; identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor contractor performance and progress; resolve challenges.
• Maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders; prepare reports and executive summaries.
• Present progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
