Job summary

Verizon is seeking a self-motivated sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities in a mobile, travel-heavy role within the Warwick, Cranston, Providence, Barrington RI area. You will consult with customers to tailor solutions, drive revenue, and manage relationships.

The role supports a hybrid work model; travel up to 50% is expected, with base pay plus commission. Verizon offers a comprehensive rewards package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation.
• Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory. Expected travel may be up to approximately 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and qualify leads within territory to drive sales opportunities via cold-calling, partner selling, lead-generation campaigns and social selling techniques.
• Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
• Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
• Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and solutions to promote and position products including: Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
• Track and report progress through sales force automation tools.
