IMCD Group seeks a Technical Account Manager for the East Region in Advanced Materials. This client-facing role ensures customers successfully use complex products to meet business goals and acts as a trusted advisor for technical support and training.

You will travel up to 50% within TN, KY and IN, develop strong customer relationships, identify upsell opportunities, support sales, and relay insights to product teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales, technical, lab, customer support, or inside sales experience.
• Experience selling chemical or technical products (preferred).
• Experience with distribution sales (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-management abilities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the main point of contact for existing core accounts in a designated territory and identify growth targets.
• Conduct frequent planned visits and engage with key customers regularly.
• Provide deep technical support, troubleshoot issues, and guide product implementation.
• Identify opportunities for value, suggest upgrades, and align technology with business goals.
• Support sales by highlighting features and driving adoption; upsell/cross-sell.
• Collect customer feedback and relay insights to development teams.
• Educate clients on effective product usage through training sessions.
• Grow earnings per designated sales goals.
