Job summary

IMCD Group is seeking a Technical Account Manager to be a client-facing expert helping customers maximize complex products to meet business goals. This hybrid role covers TN, KY, IN, with frequent travel up to 50% and strong emphasis on technical guidance and training.

You will provide deep technical support, drive adoption, identify upsell opportunities, and relay insights to development teams to improve products and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related technical field or business.
• Minimum 2 years' sales, technical, lab, or customer support experience.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex tech to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for existing core accounts in the designated territory.
• Conduct frequent planned visits with key customers.
• Provide deep technical support, troubleshoot, and guide product implementation.
• Identify upsell opportunities and align tech with business goals.
• Support sales by highlighting features and driving adoption.
• Relay customer feedback to development teams to improve products.
• Educate clients on effective product usage through training sessions.
