Job summary

Tessco is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Human Resources team. This hands-on, fast-paced, and highly visible role partners with hiring managers to deliver top talent, manage end-to-end recruitment, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, Boolean search, social media).
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software. Greenhouse experience preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with labor laws and hiring regulations.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Source high-quality candidates via job boards, social media, networking events and referrals.
• Collaborate with marketing and HR teams to enhance employer brand presence.
• Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate a smooth interview process.
• Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in the ATS to track candidate progress.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate onboarding for new hires.
• Stay updated on hiring trends and best practices to improve recruitment strategies.
