Job summary

Tessco LLC in Reno, NV or Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with hiring managers to deliver top talent. This hands-on, fast-paced role requires innovation, professionalism, and business acumen, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment from posting to onboarding.

You will source candidates via LinkedIn and other boards, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and help build our employer brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, Boolean search, social media).
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software. Greenhouse experience preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with labor laws and hiring regulations.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to source high-quality candidates.
• Collaborate with marketing and HR teams to enhance employer brand presence and attract top talent.
• Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate a smooth interview process.
• Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the ATS to track candidate progress.
• Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
• Stay updated on industry hiring trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
