Job summary

Kimball Midwest is hiring a Sales Representative for a hybrid role to engage with existing and prospective customers, promote products, and generate revenue in a defined territory.

This position offers uncapped commission earnings, a first-year compensation plan between $55,000 and $95,000, and benefits including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401k and a deferred compensation plan. You will manage relationships, prospect new business, and meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• The ability to move to and from customer and associate locations and meetings within the assigned geographic area.
• Compliance with required insurance minimums.
• Willingness to operate under BYOD policy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to potential customers to show value and quality.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following proven sales programs and processes.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in the systems and report cost-savings when supporting clients.
